Wattles in 1906.  It was based on many many years of studying how the wealthy obtained their riches.  He discovered that there was a difference between the poor and those who had money.

Wattles believed that it was not that one was born into poverty, or just had bad luck, but that there was an exact science to getting rich.  You can see this displayed in people who live in an area where those around them are very successful, however they still remain in poverty.  It has nothing to do with life, or environment but has to do with you.

It is an amazing learning, and one that could be understood by anyone at any level and any age.  So, now that you know where the name comes from and who created the idea, the next step is to understand it and put it into practice.
